Common questions

Maybe we've already answered it.

A few things that come up often. If your question isn't here, drop us a line.

Does MyPDFWire upload my documents?

No. The Windows desktop app runs fully on your PC, and the in-browser converter processes documents locally in your browser. Your .docx bytes are never sent to our servers. See the privacy section for details.

Is MyPDFWire really free?

Yes. There's no account, no subscription, no file-size cap, and no conversion quota. If that ever changes, we'll announce it well in advance.

How do I uninstall it?

Use Windows' built-in "Apps & features" panel to uninstall MyPDFWire, or run the uninstaller from the install folder. There's also a short walkthrough on the uninstall page.

Why does my converted PDF look slightly different from Word?

Layout fidelity depends on the fonts available on your device and the features used in the source document (complex tables, equation editors, certain SmartArt). If something looks off, email a screenshot and the source .docx if you can share it — we'll investigate.

Can I use MyPDFWire for commercial work?

Yes. The license permits personal and internal business use. See the EULA for the full grant and restrictions.

Do you offer phone support?

Not currently. Email is the only support channel — it's how we keep MyPDFWire free and stay focused on building. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
